School’s out!

Well, for the ones who could go to school. But, great news, camps are in!!

New Government guidelines mean that activity camps can now take place, with all safety precautions being followed. Here at Muswell Hill Mums, we have a list of camps which have just released new spaces. Whether you have a budding footballer, West End star, gymnast or street artist, there’s something for everyone.


Planet Youth

Planet Youth’s Summer Holiday Camp is running for another 3 weeks.
The Covid-secure camp at Hollickwood School is open for ages 4-7 and 8-11. Expect a fun day packed with activities, crafts, sports, a special theme day on Wednesdays and water splash fun on Fridays.

Costs: from £20 -£45 p/day (pm us for offer)
Times: 10am-4pm/ 9am-5pm / 8am-6pm

Highgate Rangers Summer Camp

For ages 6 – 14.

Highgate Rangers have the kids covered this summer with FULL DAYS of fun activities! Each day there will be 5 different activities for the children. Ranging from 2 indoor sports, 2 fun outdoor football training sessions, and a fun classroom based activity (games, quizzes and more!).

Stage Academy are running two exciting camps at Lauderdale House from 17th to 21st August and 24th to 28th August.

A Week in the West End!

For ages 8 to 18 with teachers direct from London’s West End.

A star from London’s West End and UK Tours teaching with a focus on a different West End production each day.

London Academy of Gymastics and Dance

For ages 5 -11.
The LAGAD camps offer lively sessions with a mix of gymnastics, dance and aerial skills, led by experienced and qualified coaches. Our small groups are available to all ability levels.

The well structured camp activities with  qualified coaches offer kids the chance to learn new skills, burn off energy and have fun.

Alexandra Palace Summer Camps

Immerse yourself in creativity this summer. Each week focuses on a different fusion of urban arts and environmental activism.

For ages 8 – 14 from 10am – 4pm
£100 full price or £85 concession

3rd – 7th August: From the Streets
Create large and small-scale murals, displayed on Alexandra Palace grounds, with highly acclaimed street artist Carleen De Sozer. Learn how to make your own stencils and use a spray can to make arresting art.

10th – 14th August: Street Fashion
Design and make your own clothes with Little Hands Design and create your own sustainable fashion brand. Learn how to illustrate, create a mood board, sew, up cycle clothes and create a brand using waste as a resource.

17th – 21st August: Spoken Word
Be part of next generation of London rappers, performance poets and spoken word artists. Create your own original writing with professional poet and emcee Simon Mole and musician Gecko.

Throughout the week, you will hone your creative writing and performance skills and showcase your rimes in this world-class music venue to an invited audience.

24th – 28th August: Street Dance

Create your own original dance piece with multi award winning hip-hop dancers and choreographers. Improve your techniques by learning complex hip-hop motifs, and create your own moves. On the final day, showcase your talent to an invited audience on the palace grounds.
