Cruz Sports Coaching

Whether it is introducing your child to the electrifying sport of basketball or providing them with more avenues to advance their sporting aspirations, Cruz Basketball Academy will stimulate your child’s passion in sports. Basketball is a great sport to get into! Not only burns it calories, it also increases balance, coordination and endurance, helps improve concentration and encourages the development of teamwork.

Developing their skills at a pace comfortable to them in a fun and exciting environment, the Cruz Basketball Academy coaches them in fundamental techniques and team tactics. Besides becoming more proficient in basketball, your child will also acquire essential values such as teamwork, honour and resilience during sessions, thus developing a strong character and moral habits from young.

Players will have the chance to train together in a focused environment with demanding on-court offensive and defensive skill training along with intense off-court strength and conditioning training.


The training programme includes:​

– On-court positional basketball skill training

– Strength and Conditioning; power, speed, agility, flexibility, injury prevention

– Athletic testing and body-composition evaluation

– Team-building exercises

– Team practice times

– Team Putting Fists Together In Huddle

– Basketball Class

Basketball Club Dates and Times​

– 13 – 16yrs: Monday from 6 – 7.30pm at Alexandra Park School

– 8 – 12yrs (girls only): Wednesdays from 6 – 7.30pm at Alexandra Park School

– 8 – 12yrs (boys only): Wednesdays from 6.30 – 8pm at Alexandra Park School

– 4-7yrs: Thursdays from 5.30 – 7pm​ at Alexandra Park School

– 10 – 14yrs​ (individual practice – selected players): Fridays from 6 – 7.30pm at Alexandra Park School​

​- 4-12yrs: Fridays 6 – 7pm at Wren Academy School
