With the summer holidays starting in about 5 weeks, now is the time to look for fun, interactive and educational activities to keep the kids occupied and entertained. Signing your child up to a summer camps allows them to learn new skills, make new friends and create unforgettable memories.
Here are our top holiday camps in Muswell Hill.

Tomato Studio


Expect a child lead camp exposing them to different art and craft techniques, forest school skills building, team-working activities as well as a beautiful soundtrack of music in the background.

Camp Ally Pally


Based at Alexandra Park School, Camp Ally Pally offers a whole range of activities to make the school holidays fun and exciting.

From 22nd July – 16th August for ages 4-11.

Children do much more than play – they can expect to learn, explore their creative abilities and make new friends.

Staff are DBS checked and have professional experience working with children.



Debutots summer camps are running 12th-16th and 19th-22nd August for 4-7 year olds at Tetherdown School, 10am to 3pm.

Each day focuses on a different book and includes drama and a themed craft activity, with an extra workshop in the afternoon of either sports, circus skills, mini-Olympics or a disco.

There’s also lots of time for group games and outdoor play.

Adult:child ratios are excellent at 1:8, with staff including actors, storytellers and artists, all with years of experience of working with children.


Muswell Hill School of Performing Arts

Mamma Mia & Legally Blonde Summer WorkshopThe kids spend a fun filled week, learning songs, dances and scenes from the musicals Mamma Mia or Legally Blonde , which culminates in a presentation for parents.
MHSPA offers a 9AM drop off option, where the kids are provided with a light breakfast, of toast, cereal, fruit & juice.

London Academy of Gymnastics and Dance

Fun and dynamic sessions including gymnastics, circus skills, air track, juggling, hoops, vault, stilts,  games and more. Fully trained and highly experienced coaches work in small groups to bring out the best in every child.
For children aged 3.5 to 13 years.

Monsters Dance Company

Whether your children have previous dance experience, or are yet to discover their potential in dance, they will have fun and learn new skills at the Monsters Dance Company camp.

All workshops are open to students ages 4-15 years of all abilities!

22nd July – 16th August at Muswell Hill Youth Centre.

Monday-Thursday: 10am – 3pm / Friday: 11am – 3.30pm

Rising Stars Activities


Rising Stars Activities are back at Archer Academy for their summer camp!

Their OFSTED registered holiday camps offer children a safe and inspiring environment to learn, discover and have fun with their friends. Rising Stars run a flexible timetable where children can choose their activities, boosting their confidence and self-esteem as they shape and control their own day.

29th July – 2nd August / 5th August – 9th August.
Core day: 10am – 3pm. Extended day from 9am – 4pm.

Alexandra Palace Summer Programme

24th – 26th July
Circus Fly Free with Scarabeus Aerial Theatre! In this course, you will be introduced to aerial skills and choreographed movement. You will conquer our fears and learn exciting aerial skills on elastic cocoons rigged from trees. (8-13 years, £75)

29th July – 2nd August
Festival – Children will learn skills in developing public performances with leading outdoor theatre makers and festival organisers. (8-13 years, £75)

5th – 9th August
From the Street – Working with a leading street artist, children will develop their own style using Alexandra Palace as their inspiration.(8-13 years, £75)

12th– 16th August
Band in A Week – If you’re between 11 – 18 and have a passion for music, then join us  over five days of FREE workshops led by experienced tutors in guitar, bass, drums or vocal tuition to create a park  inspired performance. No previous experience of playing an instrument required, but a love of music essential.

19th – 23rd August
Record this – Children will learn and apply New Media skills by responding to the park to produce a short scale music video.(8-13 years, £75)

26th –  30th August
Walk on the Wild Side – Children will learn about the importance of parks and urban spaces through a range of activities that highlight the need for park recreation, sustainability and conservation. (8-13 years, £75)
